The Reality of Raising Doodle Puppies: More Than Just Cute Photos

The past week has been a whirlwind. Our newest litter of mini and micro mini doodles, Sheepadoodles, and blue-eyed designer doodles is almost a week old, and their little personalities are already shining through. Millie, our incredible mama, is bouncing back quickly, and I couldn’t be prouder of her.

But behind all the adorable puppy pictures you see, there’s an intense amount of work, love, and sacrifice that goes into raising these little bundles of joy. Breeding top-quality doodles isn’t for everyone, and while I make it look easy, believe me—it’s anything but.

What It Really Takes to Raise Doodles

Bringing healthy, happy doodle puppies into the world is a 24/7 commitment. It’s not just about cuddles and playtime; it’s about being:

A Catering Chef – Every pup needs the right nutrition, whether it’s nursing, supplementing, or transitioning to solid food.
A Bottle Washer – Every bowl, bottle, and feeding tool needs to be sanitized daily.
A Bedding Laundromat – Puppy blankets, beds, and whelping pads need constant cleaning to keep the environment safe and sanitary.
A Nurse – From monitoring their health to handling minor issues, I’m always watching over them.
A Pooper Scooper – Let’s be real—when you have 10+ puppies, cleanup is nonstop!
A Marketing Director – Raising puppies is only half the job; finding them the right homes is just as important.
A Travel Agent – Coordinating safe transportation and pickup for families adopting our doodles.
A Comforter – Whether it’s their first vet visit or helping a puppy cross the rainbow bridge, I’m there to hold and comfort them.
A Pest Controller – Ensuring their space stays safe from fleas, ticks, and other potential threats.
A Puppy Rocker – Yes, I rock them when they’re fussy! Sometimes, they just need to be held and comforted.

Now, imagine doing all of this while raising 10 to 20 puppies at once—on top of daily life.

Why I Do This, Even Through the Exhaustion

Some days, I’m running on just a few hours of sleep. My hair is a mess, I have no makeup on, and exhaustion is written all over my face. But would I trade it for anything? Not a chance.

My love for these puppies outweighs the sleepless nights, the endless laundry, and the hard work. I do this because I believe in raising the best doodles possible, giving them the love and care they deserve, and ensuring they go to families who will cherish them just as much.

So, the next time you see our adorable mini and micro mini doodles, Sheepadoodles, and blue-eyed designer doodles, know that behind every photo is a whole lot of dedication, love, and sacrifice.
